Director-General of FAO visited Iran's booth at the Rome Exhibition The Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), Chu Dongyu, visited the pavilion of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the same time as the opening of the second World Exhibition "From Seed to Food" in the historic area of the Circus Maximus in Rome, and Ali Zemin, the Ambassador of Iran and the Permanent Representative of Iran, FAO, gave cultural explanations about the FAO. This international event with presence of 300 exhibitors from 140 countries with an emphasis on "promoting innovation for food security and nutrition" will be open until October 20; in addition to presenting products, the Iranian representative has also prepared special programs including authentic Iranian cooking and local music performances on the sidelines of the exhibition.
