President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized in a message on the occasion of the opening of the Shams Tabrizi Court:

In a message on the occasion of the opening of the cultural complex and court of Shams Tabrizi, the President considered this complex to be more than a civil building and a symbol of the beginning of a new chapter in preserving and recognizing the heritage of Shams and Rumi, and emphasized Khoy's role in turning it into a living center for research, reading, and re-reading the heritage of Iranian mysticism.

๐Ÿ”น Dr. Pezeshkian also emphasized the need to turn this cultural complex into a home for thought and research where researchers, intellectuals, artists, and enthusiasts from Iran and other parts of the world can gather, and new generations can become acquainted with the treasures that speak of human dignity, the search for truth, spirituality, tolerance, and connection between people. They should be rich and dynamic, and along with preserving the heritage of Shams, they should also contribute to the scientific and cultural prosperity of Khoy, the development of spiritual tourism, and the improvement of the lives of the people of this land.

The President also described and clarified the opening of this collection at a time of war, sanctions, and threats as having a meaning beyond a cultural event: Iran's enemies may target the infrastructure and lives of our people and create difficulties for this nation through pressure and sanctions, but they cannot crush the will of Iranians to build the future, defend their identity, and keep their heritage alive.

Dr. Pezeshkian, noting that the construction and completion of this collection are not the result of the efforts of a single person, institution, or government, added: This desire has been preserved over the years through the love and persistence of the people of Khoy and Tabriz, the efforts of researchers and artists, and the support of national and local managers, and I thank all the managers and officials who sincerely played their part in the first step of shaping, funding, building, and completing this collection.
