Hamati, head of the central bank:

The growth rate of monthly inflation in the summer was half of this year's spring monthly inflation.

Many people talked about the possibility of hyperinflation and high inflation rates after the Ramadan war and the beginning of pressures and blockades.

But my colleagues at the central bank took measures to control inflation.

The government helped the central bank because it did not rely on the central bank for financial resources.

We tried to create the necessary liquidity controls. I am not talking about low inflation, but I am talking about the fact that severe inflation was supposed to happen, but it did not. You can see that every day Trump and the US Treasury Secretary repeat that our goal was to create high inflation in Iran.

๐Ÿ”น The graphs show the monthly decline in liquidity in the country; liquidity growth reached 1.3% in September, which is an exceptional figure.

๐Ÿ”น Also, the point analysis of liquidity growth indicates that it has steadily dropped from its peak to 51%. Our goal is to have more control over liquidity growth in the coming months. It is natural that when liquidity growth is controlled, you will see its effect on inflation.

Of course, inflation can have various causes from both the supply and demand sides; due to the conflicts we had, demand pressure increased and inflation grew. The monthly inflation in the quarters of July, August, and September is half of the monthly inflation of this spring. This issue helped reduce the inflation rate.

I do not want to say that we do not have inflation; all people know that inflation is high and they feel it when they shop; instead, they are talking about what America and Israel wanted to do. They wanted to put pressure on our people by creating inflation. Fortunately, this did not happen and the central bank has a plan to curb inflation.
