๐น The Hajar Jabali Mosque in the heart of the historic Sanglaj neighborhood, a building with more than a hundred years of history and collections of valuable flooring and inscriptions, today it lives in the midst of cracks in the walls, wear and tear and years of indecision to rebuild. According to the neighborhood's cultural and social heritage activists, the building was once the core of a large cultural and social complex, and now if the restoration process is delayed, part of Sengalj's historical identity will be lost forever.
๐น The sound of history falling layer by layer is heard in the narrow alleys of Senegal, but this sound does not come from the walls, it comes from the empty hearts of the local people.
