Siraf, Tos and Jaime mosques; Iran's candidates for global registration

๐Ÿ”น The Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, referring to the collection of the global registration files for 2027, announced the submission of three files "Ancient Seraf Port", "Tos" and "Iranian Mosques" to UNESCO and said: Iran has no worries about registering works for the next 58 years.

๐Ÿ”น Salehiamiri, explaining the plans of this ministry for the preservation and introduction of historical monuments in the country, said: For 2027, three major files have been prepared, and the way to register them is on the agenda. The ancient port of "Siraf" as a unique port complex from the Sasanian era with more than 700 kilometers of coast in the south of the country, "Tos" due to its historical greatness and the presence of famous people such as Purdosi and Imam Muhammad Ghazali, as well as the case of "Iranian mosques" are included in this list.

The Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Crafts explained about the James Mosques file: We have compiled over 40 James Mosques for global registration in a "chain file" format. Considering that the accepted procedure in UNESCO is to register individual buildings, due to the large number of these valuable works, we have presented them in the form of collections so that by obtaining a single registration number, the speed of global registration of Iran's heritage will increase.

Referring to his experience in participating in the recent UNESCO summit in South Korea, Salehi Amiri spoke about the diplomatic authority of Iran's heritage and added: At that summit, cases of other countries were the subject of expert debates for up to two hours. But as far as the global registration of "Almut" is concerned, the director of the meeting announced: If anyone has an opinion, no objection was raised and the case was immediately approved with three blows of the hammer.

He stated: This incident shows the scientific strength of Iran's cases and the privileged status of the country's cultural heritage in international forums. The Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Crafts noted: These achievements and detailed planning made us plan for over five decades (58 years) in the field of recording world works without worry and with a calm imagination.
