๐ฅ Baqaei: Iran's seven-day plan was the latest initiative to keep the path of diplomacy open / Our militant armed forces are ready to repel any evil
๐น The Foreign Ministry Spokesman, in response to the question "What steps has the Foreign Ministry taken to prevent the escalation of tensions and keep the path of diplomacy open? Is there a new initiative on the agenda of the Foreign Ministry in the current situation?" said:
Our trip to New York and utilizing the opportunity of the annual UN General Assembly session was one of its goals. Iran's seven-step or seven-day plan was the latest initiative proposed by the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the world also witnessed this approach by Iranian officials based on good intentions.
It remains to be seen how the other side will respond to Iran's approach. Today, the Honorable Minister of Foreign Affairs reminded that previous attempts and experiences over the past two years show that the American side in no way appreciates diplomatic approaches and has always refused to fulfill its commitments, with or without an excuse.
๐น This is why we will strongly defend Iran's national interests and security while simultaneously talking about diplomacy. Our militant armed forces are vigilant, strong, and ready to repel any evil from foreign actors.
