🔹 Foreign Ministry spokesman, in response to a question about the President's meeting with the Prime Minister of Lebanon and whether this country had a demand regarding the Iranian ambassador in Lebanon and demanded the replacement of the Iranian ambassador, said:

A very good meeting took place between his excellency the President and his Lebanese counterpart, the Prime Minister of Lebanon. We have already explained about the issue of the Iranian ambassador in Beirut. The Iranian ambassador has already received his approval from the authorities in Lebanon. In this meeting, one of the topics discussed was diplomatic relations between Iran and Lebanon and the embassy issue. We stated our positions.

What is certain is that there is no unanimity on this issue in Lebanon itself, but in any case, what is important to us is to try to resolve the misunderstandings that have arisen on this issue through discussions with the authorities in Lebanon.
