In the traditional perception, old age is often associated with the word crisis; but from our new perspective in the Welfare Organization, this phenomenon is not a dead end, but a "social process" that can be turned into a "silver economy" and an opportunity for national development with smart planning and governance.

On the eve of International Day of Older Persons, it is time to take a deeper and more strategic look at the phenomenon of aging in Iran. Aging in Iran is no longer just a welfare issue or related to the future; today, this phenomenon has become a strategic, interdisciplinary, and economic issue.
