Referring to the possibility of irregular rains and floods in the fall and winter, the spokesperson of the Red Crescent community said: The Red Crescent community has increased its readiness to deal with weather hazards by activating emergency operations centers, training lifeguards, preparing special flood teams, aid equipment and identifying emergency accommodation points.
๐น Training has begun in emergency centers and public education, maintaining operatives of emergency operation centers and training rescuers regarding floods and other hazards are on the agenda.
About 13,000 emergency accommodation points in Israel have been identified and information related to the infrastructure of these points has been recorded, including electricity, space, security, drinking water, and the person responsible for each place has been registered in the Red Crescent settlements system.
