The continuous decline in the level of underground water due to decades of over-harvesting from wells and subsequent forms has faced southern Kerman province (including Faryab, Dosari, Anbarabad, Kohnouj and Ismaili Jiroft) with the irreversible phenomenon of "soil subsidence" and "slow water erosion".
