North Korea fired an unidentified missile into the East Sea

South Korea's military announced that North Korea fired an unidentified missile into the East Sea (Sea of Japan) early Saturday, although it did not provide details on whether it was ballistic or the type of weapon.

This action followed the recent escalation of tensions between the two countries, including accusations by Seoul of violating the ceasefire following the Min blast and, on the other hand, Kim Yo-jong's denial and warning of retaliation over the results of South Korea's investigations.
