Salehiyamiri: The historic port of Siraf has been prioritized for UNESCO world registration

The Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts said: Considering the historical and cultural capabilities of Bushehr district, the case of the historical port of Siraf was given priority for the UNESCO world registration.

🔹 According to an IRNA reporter, Seyyed Reza Salehiamiri told reporters on Friday evening at the end of his two-day trip to Bushehr province: With the global registration of Siraf, an important change will occur in the region's economy, employment and tourism.

🔹 He stated: This year priority was given to the three cases of Siraf, Tus and Iranian mosques, and due to the special conditions of the Bushehr district, priority was given to the case of Siraf.
