The Ministry of Energy, in cooperation with the diplomatic system, is pursuing an active and continuous strategy to protect Iran's water rights in the border watershed. Regarding the Hiramand River, despite the challenges created by the Kamal Khan Dam, intensive monitoring based on the 1351 Convention led to an improvement in the water flow situation and receiving more than 400 million cubic meters of water in the last year, which indicates the effectiveness of water diplomacy in stabilizing through cooperation and fulfilling Iran's right.
