The elderly population in Iran will more than double to 1430

The head of the Department of Geriatric Health at the Ministry of Health said: Today over 10 million people, or about 12% of the country's population, are elderly, and according to the data of the Iranian Statistics Center, it is expected that by the year 1430 the share of the elderly will reach more than 26%.
