Our presence at the assembly this year was very dynamic. This morning the president left and returned, but their presence was very active; many meetings, many interviews, and that very strong speech he delivered at the assembly.
🔹 Alongside him, I also had several meetings that you surely followed in the news. In all these meetings, our main line was to express the conditions of the Islamic Republic of Iran for the opening of the Strait of Hormuz and the progress of negotiations; conditions set by the Supreme National Security Council.
We were committed to explaining and presenting these conditions here and defending them. Alhamdulillah, this work was officially done in all the meetings we had. In the meetings we held with intermediaries, these conditions were fully conveyed, explained and elucidated, and they also conveyed these matters to the American side. 🔹 We defended our positions, policies and the conditions we set in all meetings, and the whole world, the fair nations of the world, became aware of the fact that the Islamic Republic of Iran, just as it has well defended its country, has always appeared strong in the field of diplomacy, and especially by presenting various plans and by setting the diplomatic atmosphere in its own way, it has also managed to steer its path.
The plans we presented were interviewed, explained and discussed in the meetings. It was also conveyed to the American side by intermediaries.
We saw the first reaction of the US president, but nothing has been communicated to us from the intermediaries yet. Of course, the President of the United States said many good and bad things, which unfortunately are heard from him a lot. We are waiting for the final comments of the intermediaries and will make a decision based on that. However, our conditions are clear, and any movement forward to open the Strait of Hormuz depends on the fulfillment of these conditions, and we will not back down from them.
The vision for the people of Iran is a bright vision. The people of Iran have shown their strength both in the military field, in the diplomatic field, and in the economic field and in dealing with sanctions.
Our enemies tried every way; they went every way they could and did not achieve the result. There will be no other way except a negotiated solution, based on respect and justice, and by guaranteeing the rights of the Iranian people and securing their rightful demands.
Only a negotiated solution can get them out of this deadlock. This is our position. Many countries share this position with us and understand it.
There is no one in the world who can accuse the Islamic Republic of Iran of not trying the path of diplomacy. For this reason, we are in a superior political position; for the reason that we never closed the path of diplomacy and negotiation, but we also never neglected our rights.
Whenever our enemies chose another path, we stood firmly against them on that path as well
