The speeches of French President Emmanuel Macron and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez at this UN event, along with the suspension of all flights at Luxembourg Airport, the crash of a US Army F-16 in Germany, the lifting of sanctions on 2 Russian billionaires and the ban on burqas and niqabs in Italy, were among the most important events in Europe last week.
