Increasing production, improving quality and ensuring buyer satisfaction are the three main aspects of the government's demand, especially the Ministry of Taxation, from the largest car manufacturers in Israel, which was also emphasized in Minister Sammet's recent visit to the two largest car manufacturers in Israel.

🔹 An automotive industry expert observed that one of the government's incentives for automobile manufacturers in recent years is the issue of tariffs in the automobile industry and said: The tariff policy should be such that it encourages local production, not putting the manufacturers in an inferior position compared to importers.

Kakai pointed out: If the production is not economical and the local industry is damaged, and in such a situation, it is impossible to talk about increasing the quality, deepening the local production and developing the automobile industry. He described the auto industry as a linked chain of different industries and added: hundreds of large and small parts manufacturers cooperate with car manufacturers in the supply chain of car parts, and if one of these links has a problem, the entire production process is affected.
