🔹 America's actions in forcing the countries of the world to sever economic relations with Tehran and the attempt to launch an effective naval and air blockade against the Iranian people, in terms of international law, are a continuation of militant armed military aggression against Iran, a clear violation of international humanitarian law, and are considered a war crime.

In an analytical note, Maryam Jamshidi, a law professor at the University of Colorado, described the imposed blockade as patently illegal and a continuation of Washington's previous aggression. According to Jamshidi, Washington's goal is not to gain any military advantage, but only focuses on strengthening the lever of political pressure in negotiations.
