🔸 Jam Satar Khan traditional sports festival seeks national registration

🔹 The traditional festival of the Satar Khan Warzaghan Cup passed its 14th edition this year, and the local authorities say that they are looking for the national registration of the prestigious and valuable event that perpetuates the traditions of Iranians.

🔹 This festival was held with the enthusiastic participation of the people, the competition of local horsemen and archers and the introduction of the rural abilities of the region in the Kurik Plain, while it was not the only arena for traditional sports.

In the introduction to his report on this festival, the IRNA correspondent writes: The sound of horses' screeching echoes in the Kravik plain. The dust rises from under the hooves and eyes follow the rider galloping through the field. The cheers of the spectators mingled with the noise of the arena and turned the placid Varchan plain into a lively arena.
