Iraq wanted to increase the interaction between Iran and Arab countries

Seyed Abbas Irakchi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who traveled to New York to attend the annual meeting of the United Nations General Assembly, met on Friday morning with the Secretary General of the Arab League, Nabil Fahmi.

In this meeting, they discussed developments in the region, mainly on the issue of Palestine and the escalation of Israel's aggression and crimes in Palestine and Lebanon.

Emphasizing Iran's determination to strengthen trust between regional countries, the foreign minister saw security as an integrated and inseparable category that depends on understanding shared responsibility and constructive interaction. Iraqichi called for increased dialogue and interaction between Iran and the Arab countries and expressed his confidence that in this way the misunderstandings and concerns caused by the propaganda of the common enemies of Iran and the Arabs will be resolved. The Secretary General of the Arab League expressed hope that with the efforts of all regional parties and the expansion of dialogue and interaction, we will witness the strengthening of mutual trust and increased cooperation between the countries of the region.
