Survival: The European Union and NATO members must be held accountable for their participation in the aggression of the United States and Israel against Iran

The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmail Bakaei, wrote on Channel X in response to the statements of NATO Secretary General, Mark Ruta, about the participation of European countries and NATO members in the military aggression of the US and Israel against Iran:

"The statements of the Secretary General of NATO, Mark Ruta, about America's extensive use of facilities located in Europe to prepare and carry out America's military aggression - captives of Israel against Iran, are a clear admission of the fact that Europe consciously and actively participated in the war of aggression of America and of Israel's captives against Iran; Although they denied this issue many times during the war. The European Union, its member states and NATO members must be held accountable for their role and participation in America's and Israel's military aggression against Iran; including for any political, military, logistical or other support that contributed to the killing and destruction caused by this war, as well as for the ongoing consequences. European citizens have the right to demand answers from their governments regarding the decisions they made to support or participate in this aggression.

The increase in the price of fuel and other consequences of this illegal war must be examined in accordance with the role played by European governments in providing the context and supporting it.

Mark Rutte's role as NATO Secretary General must also be investigated, including the actions and decisions taken under his authority and responsibility in relation to this illegal war.
