The oil market under the influence of Hormuz risk and the development of China's consumption
In the week that ended on September 11, 2026, the world oil market went through one of its most intense periods in recent years; Rounds in which the escalation of military conflicts, attacks on oil tankers, the disruption of export routes and the increased risk of crossing the Strait of Hormuz, once again brought the price of oil to the upper range of $100 per barrel.
The developments in the product market and the structural change in the fuel consumption pattern in China have also shown that the oil market is facing two different forces.
