Iranian President Salami and the Prime Minister of Pakistan, in a meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, while emphasizing the strength and depth of relations between Tehran and Islamabad, reviewed the latest implementation of bilateral agreements and understandings and regional developments, and emphasized the continuation of diplomatic consultations to strengthen cooperation, reduce tensions and strengthen regional peace.

Dr. Masoud Pazhkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Mr. Shahbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan met on the sidelines of the 80th United Nations General Assembly and discussed the latest developments in bilateral relations, the implementation process of previous agreements and the most important regional developments.
