Pakistan has again announced its airstrikes deep in Afghanistan, claiming to have targeted 10 locations in the country with air and drone strikes in response to yesterday's drone attacks.

Pakistan's information ministry said Thursday it had launched new airstrikes against what it called threat areas in Afghanistan. "To exercise its sovereign right to legitimate defense, Pakistan has carried out precision drone and airstrikes against 10 sites in Afghanistan used for the launch and maintenance of these drones," the statement said.
