Iraqi foreign minister Seyed Abbas arrived in New York before the president and on the first day of his visit, he met and talked with the foreign ministers of Italy, Norway, Qatar, Belarus, Switzerland, Greece, Austria, Iraq, the Netherlands, Azerbaijan, France and the representative of the foreign policy of the European Union.

In Iraqi meetings with European officials, the consequences of the war and the developments in the region and the positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran were discussed. In the meeting with officials of the region and neighboring countries, issues such as cooperation in the Caucasus, border security and bilateral relations were also discussed.

Iranian officials announced that Tehran's seven conditions were transferred to the American side through intermediaries.
