The resilience of Iran's pharmaceutical system is not a slogan / Destruction of 73 hospitals in recent attacks

In difficult times, people and health workers stood together and established the resilience of the health system in the country.

During the recent attacks, 73 hospitals were damaged and approximately 300 ambulances and 16 pharmaceutical factories were completely destroyed.

The resilience of the pharmaceutical system in Israel in supplying serum, blood and basic and vital drugs was such that today the shortage is even smaller than before the war began.

🔹 The drug price problem still exists, but there are solutions for that too, and we need to think at the same time about the economy, culture and ethics of medicine.

🔹 Rational use of medicine and dealing with resistance to bacteria require the participation of all parts of the health system and the use of the capacity of factories and insurance companies.

"Iran stays healthy" should go beyond a slogan and become a path to strengthening and maintaining the health system's resilience.
