Ani India News Agency: The foreign ministers of Group 4 countries, including India, Brazil, Germany and Japan, called for immediate reforms in the United Nations Security Council and announced that this Council is currently unable to effectively carry out its primary responsibility in maintaining international peace and security.

In this statement it was said: The representation, legitimacy, validity and effectiveness of the UN Security Council are in question, caused by the Council's shortcomings and returning to its "achronistic structure of the eight decades".
