🔸 Iraqi: Restoring shipping security in the region requires an end to America's measures of insecurity and economic assassination

🔹 Seyed Abbas Irakchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Beit Meinel-Reisinger, Foreign Minister of Austria, met and said on the sidelines of the 80th General Assembly of the United Nations in New York.

In this meeting, the two sides discussed the most important international and regional developments as well as bilateral issues of interest to both countries.

In explaining the current developments in the region, the Foreign Minister of our country considered the insecurity in the Strait of Hormuz and the disruption of shipping as a direct result of the aggressive actions of the US and Israel, and emphasized that the restoration of shipping security in the region requires an end to the insecurity measures of the US and the economic assassination. Also, referring to the continuation of the Palestinian genocide and gross violations of international law by Israel, as well as the regime's continued aggression against Lebanon and other countries in the region, the foreign minister emphasized the responsibility of all countries, especially European countries, to stop all support for the occupying regime and end the rule of this regime.
