Iranian President Salami arrived in New York a few minutes ago to attend and deliver a speech at the UN General Assembly and explain Tehran's positions.

Massoud Pazhkian was welcomed at John F. Kennedy in New York by Golmahossein Darzi, the Ambassador and Charge d'Affaires of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations and a group of Iranian diplomats.

The delegation of the Iranian Foreign Ministry led by "Sid Abbas Irakichi" arrived in New York on Monday evening at Siam Shahrivar 1405 and ahead of the presidential delegation, and the Iranian Foreign Minister has been holding bilateral meetings with his counterparts and with international officials since Tuesday morning EST.

During this trip, in addition to participating and explaining the positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the President will also hold meetings with some of the heads of state present at this meeting. Pazeshkian will also hold separate meetings with Iranian intellectuals living in the United States, as well as American elites and think tanks.
