🔸 Global oil price rises; slight volatility in gold price

Reuters news agency: The price of Brent crude futures for November delivery rose by $1.14, equivalent to 1.1%, to $101.48 per barrel. U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude for October delivery, whose contract will be settled on Tuesday, traded at $96.65, a rise of 0.9% or $0.87.

The spot price of gold was almost unchanged at $4,342.41 per ounce as of 04:54 (GMT), and U.S. gold futures fell 0.1% to $4,379.30.
