🔹 Ismail Bakai, spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry, wrote on Channel X in response to statements by American officials identifying Iran as a cause of the unprecedented rise in fuel prices in the “U.S.”:

🔹 American officials blame Iran for the rise in fuel prices; their impression is that people have become so conservative that they no longer remember which side initiated the military aggression and how its actions caused a crisis that dried up commercial shipping and closed the Hormuz choke point.

Of course, this type of failure is not new; in 1939 Hitler used the same method to justify the ground attack on Poland and portrayed the military aggression against that country as a “defensive measure.” When illegal war initiators attribute the consequences of the war they opened to the victim, are these signs of their strategic genius or simply another clear example of a “stupid maneuver”?
