The Director General of Health Insurance of Tehran province said in an interview to IRNA:

🔹 Regarding higher deciles, specific discounts were considered for deciles six to nine; In such a way that the 6th to 9th deciles must pay amounts equal to 40 to 50% of the insurance premiums, and for the 10th deciles the insurance premium is paid in full and every year.

Patients can get health insurance even if they are hospitalized. Our supervisors in government and university hospitals as well as private centers of the contracting party have the duty to follow people's insurance matters. This means that a person can register and get insurance coverage even in the hospital bed.
