The importance of Nagoya is not only limited to the presence of the athletes and the competition to win medals, but it is also an important arena for dialogue, lobbying, consultation and the development of diplomacy and cooperation in sports.

The 20th Asian Games will be held from September 19 to October 4, 2026 in Ichi-Nagoya, Japan, with the participation of 45 countries and more than 17 thousand athletes, technical and administrative staff. The Iran Sports Convoy with 308 athletes, of which 214 are men and 94 are women, is present in these competitions.
