The Caspian Sea, the unexplored treasure of Iran's economy

The Caspian Sea with its 636,000 square kilometers is the largest lake in the world and one of the richest economic resources in the region, but to the west of Mazandaran, with its 338 kilometers of coastline and the historic ports of Nowshahr and Faridokanar, while ignoring the strategic capabilities of the Caspian Sea, they have not yet been able to take advantage of it without expression.

According to an IRNA reporter, the Caspian Sea of Mazandaran and especially the western areas of this province and the location of this area on the route of the international North-South corridor connecting Iran to Russia, the Caucasus and Europe, have given it a strategic position that can play a decisive role in the national economy and the creation of sustainable jobs among us, but years of lack of structure and regional development have fed us. being far from reaching the desired point, and in a sense, less attention has been paid to these higher capacities.
