Egypt condemned the attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque

Egypt strongly condemned the attack by the Israeli authorities and a group of settlers on Al-Aqsa Mosque under the auspices of the police forces and warned against the attempt to change the historical and legal status of the Salami Mosque in Jerusalem.

🔹 According to IRNA's report on Monday, citing Sadi Albald, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry announced in a statement that this action violates the sanctity of Jerusalem and arouses the feelings of Muslims around the world and may lead to an increase in tension and an escalation of the situation.

Egypt emphasized the need to adhere to the historical and legal status of Al-Aqsa Mosque and to respect Jordan's authority over the Muslim and Christian mosques in Jerusalem.
