The 14th government is focused on reforming and reducing this organization. The goal of increasing productivity and agility is to use the capabilities of the private sector and knowledge-based companies in the field of research and extension education.

Currently, considering these matters, the focus is on research and empowerment through the capabilities of the private sector and knowledge-based companies.

Almost 30 percent of organizational positions and 30 to 35 percent of managerial positions will be eliminated. These changes are in line with the objectives of the legislator in the seventh plan.
