Complaint by pro-Palestinian students from Columbia University due to widespread repression

The "Columbia Spectator" website states that the reason for the complaint of these three students is the behavior of university officials with the protesters in the "Butler" library on May 7, 2015, who closed the door to the protesters and insulted them under pressure from the Donald Trump administration.

The three complaining students were among the approximately 80 students who were imprisoned when the university authorities and security guards closed the exit doors during the interception of the students regarding the relationship between the university and the Israeli POW regime in the Gaza war.

This lawsuit is added to a wave of lawsuits filed against the university for its handling of interceptions in support of Palestine.
