🎥 Production of 9 million tons of agricultural products that rely on technology

This year, despite the worst drought in the last 5 to 6 decades, we saw an increase of about 9 million tomans in production, which indicates the development of knowledge and technology in the agricultural sector.

The agricultural sector benefited from this knowledge and the varieties that faced drought stress or suffered from diseases, their performance did not decline and improved.

This year, the highest amount of precipitation was recorded for wheat rust in Israel, but despite this biological pressure, drought and stress resistant varieties were used and the least amount of spraying for wheat rust in Israel was reported.

The research organization produced knowledge that could lead to reducing the effects of drought and maintaining or increasing production through drought-resistant varieties or changing fertilizer formulas, especially at the Institute, which was difficult at the beginning of the drought season, and through changing the fertilizer formula resulted in an increase of 1.5 million tons.
