Survival: Islamabad's breach of understanding under the pretext of a ground attack on three ships was a pre-planned scenario
The spokesman for Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmail Bakaei, said in a television interview in response to claims and works in the media accusing armed militant forces of violating the memorandum and the position of the diplomatic establishment in this regard:
Unfortunately, the tendency to self-destruction is one of the consequences and signs of the enemy's cognitive and communicative warfare. Some facts are so obvious that they don't need much explanation; We are facing a party whose record of breaking agreements in recent years is not only clear to the people of Iran, but also to the entire world community. Biddle's withdrawal from the nuclear agreement (BERJAM) in 2018 - the document that formed the basis of the Security Council's Chapter VII resolution - testifies to this claim.
Referring to the hostile behavior of the other side in recent months, Bakay stated: "It is fair to ourselves and the people if we evaluate the developments at a moment's notice and forget about the events." In less than nine months, the Islamic Republic of Iran has been the target of military aggression twice right during diplomatic negotiations; So is it possible to hide the reality of these behaviors?
In describing the alleged attack on three ships and its misuse to disrupt agreements, he said: Regarding the alleged ground attack on three ships, there are actually no proven details and documents, and there are serious doubts as to its origin and manner of occurrence. But even assuming the truth of such an event, how can a document that was the result of weeks of intense negotiations after a violent and harmful war be thrown away with such excuses? The opposing parties claim that these vessels belonged to three countries in the region; The question is that these countries, referring to Article 5 of the Memorandum of Understanding and knowing about the insecurity of the southern route, why did they allow the passage of the unsafe route when Iran prepared the necessary arrangements for traveling on the safe route? Was this action done except with the coordination of Centcom? 🔹The spokesman for the diplomatic system further emphasized by calling the response of the United States disproportionate: even in the case of a violation, mechanisms were established to investigate and report. The fact that the other side saw that the agreement ended in the first stage, renewed the naval blockade and violated all its commitments, clearly shows that this action was an extremely disproportionate response, and Washington has already prepared the ground for an excuse to withdraw from the agreement that does not serve its interests.
