Every year, the end of the river is the time to harvest dates from the Khuzestan plantations. This district is the second producer of dates in the country, which is expected to harvest more than 187 thousand tons of dates this year in 17 cities of Khuzestan. The varieties available in Karon city are Colonization and Bari, which every year apart from fresh consumption, drying and home processing, sending to different districts and exporting this product to destination countries are also on the agenda.
