The official website of the European Union's foreign service wrote in a statement: We regret the decision of the United States to extend the ban on granting entry visas to the members of the Palestinian delegation, for the second year in a row, on the eve of the delegation's participation in the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

This statement said: Considering the existing agreements regarding the United Nations Headquarters and the obligations of the United States as the host country, we ask the government of this country to reconsider this decision.
