The German consulate in Saint Petersburg, Russia was closed

Amid escalating diplomatic tensions between Moscow and Berlin, the German Consulate General in Saint Petersburg was closed and the flag, national emblem and other symbols of the state were removed from the consulate building on פורשטצקיה.
