๐ธ Rejection of Sweden's baseless claim about Iran and granting a Swedish diplomat 48 hours to leave Tehran
The Foreign Ministry's public relations issued a statement, rejecting the Swedish government's unfounded claim about the Islamic Republic of Iran and condemning that country's Foreign Ministry action in preventing the continued work of an Iranian diplomat at the Iranian embassy in Sweden
This statement declares:
๐น In an unjustified action contrary to international law standards, the Swedish government forced one diplomat working at the Islamic Republic of Iran's embassy in Stockholm to leave Sweden without any justified reason. At the same time, the Swedish government leveled unfounded accusations against Iran's involvement in the country's security matters
By rejecting the claims and accusations against Iran, the Foreign Ministry views the Swedish government's action to prevent the Iranian diplomat's continued activity as completely unjustified and defends it. This Swedish government action is undoubtedly caused by Israeli infiltration and an attempt to disrupt the normal operations of the Islamic Republic of Iran's embassy in Stockholm
The Foreign Ministry of the Islamic Republic of Iran, while reminding the Swedish government of its obligations under international law, including the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, notes that the unjustified action by Sweden in disrupting the embassy's functions will result in international liability for that government. It is clear that the Islamic Republic of Iran is taking the necessary measures to protect its national rights and interests, including through reciprocal action
Based on this, on Thursday, 26 Shahrivar 1405, the Swedish ambassador was summoned to the Foreign Ministry by Elirza Yousufi, Director General for Western Europe at the Foreign Ministry, and the severe harassment by the Islamic Republic of Iran concerning Sweden's destructive policy toward Iran, especially the host country, was noted. Factors and assassination groups were mentioned. In this summons meeting, while rejecting Sweden's baseless accusations against Iran, including its action to prevent an Iranian diplomat's continued work at the Iranian embassy in Sweden, they informed the ambassador that one of this country's diplomats in Tehran must leave Iran within 48 hours for clear reasons explained to the ambassador
