The former president of Kosovo was sentenced to 25 years in prison

On Wednesday, Kosovo's war crimes court found Hashim Thaci, the region's former president, guilty of war crimes, including murder, torture and illegal detention during the 1990s conflicts, and sentenced him to 25 years in prison.
