A gas explosion in a bakery happened because an employee opened the gas tap and it started to catch fire only after a long time.

"Based on the results of an inspection of the scene of the incident on Marine Corps Street, where a burst of gas-air mixture occurred in the bakery area, experts from the gas company determined that the gas equipment was in working order and no gas leaks were found," the report states.
The investigation revealed that the cause of the incident was a failure to comply with safety measures when operating an industrial gas oven - a bakery worker opened the gas tap and it only started to catch fire after a long time. This triggered an explosion of the gas-air mixture.
