47 elevators in 12 apartment buildings are being replaced in Waldikabkes.
The new cabins are equipped with state-of-the-art safety systems, sensors and energy-efficient comforters. The equipment works quieter, smoother and faster, said the first deputy prime minister of the republic Giorgi Atrov.
"The replacement of the elevators in several buildings has already been completed. Order work is being done at other facilities. Experts define control systems and test all components and mechanisms. The experts work while taking into account the need to minimize the inconvenience to the residents," added Georgi Atrov.
The works are carried out within the framework of the regional program for the capital repair of apartment buildings. It is planned to operate all the elevators by the end of November.
