The main issue on the agenda was strengthening the coordination between the authorities of the Republic and local government bodies. Sergey Manilalu pointed out that the appearance of capital building projects, the design of outdoor advertising, the appearance of public spaces and out-of-date commercial facilities should be coordinated both at the municipal and regional levels. To do this, it is planned to increase the work of the relevant advisory bodies in the districts, while the strategic direction and unified concept will be determined by the city's planning board. We must ensure that the appearance of objects that fill our settlements is compatible at the republican and municipal level. Likewise, there should be control over the design and content of outdoor advertising and the appearance of public spaces, said Menailo. During the meeting, ten projects of commercial facilities in Volka and urban districts were considered. Experts evaluated the facade and the architectural solutions, the infrastructure component, including the availability of parking spaces. As a result of the discussion, three drafts were approved, the rest were returned to the authors for revision.
