Notice from the National Company for the Distribution of Petroleum Products of Iran on the misuse of smart fuel card chips.
Following the publication of a clip in cyberspace about the use of Rytel SIM cards to refuel at fuel supply stations, we would like to inform our dear compatriots:
🔹 The examination of the matter shows that what is seen in this clip has nothing to do with the operation of the SIM card or the network of the cellular operator; Rather, the issue is related to possible misuse of smart fuel card chips.
🔹 Based on the available information, some profiteers are misusing these chips to perform refueling operations by separating the fuel card chips and installing them on the body of the SIM card. In fact, the refueling process is done using the fuel card chip, and the body of the SIM card is only used as a carrier to store and use this chip. 🔹 The National Company for the Distribution of Iranian Petroleum Products, while monitoring the relevant authorities, asks their dear compatriots, in order to prevent any possible abuse, not to hand over their smart fuel card to different people at the fuel supply stations, and to carry out the refueling process in person.
