Nasiri became the runner-up of the world weightlifting champion.
🔹 Alireza Nasiri, world record holder for youth in the 110 kg category, won the silver medal at the 2026 World Championships by registering a total of 418 kg.
🔹 Nasiri finished sixth in the single event weighing 185 kg, but in the double event he lifted the weight of 233 kg and finished second and won the silver medal in the double event.
