The Hebrew newspaper "Haaretz" wrote today in its editorial that Israel under the rule of Benjamin Netanyahu is becoming a "toxic brand" that must be avoided and distanced from.
This newspaper went on to write: "It is no coincidence that Trump announced the suspension of aid on the day of the American midterm elections. He knows very well that the Israeli captives have been severely damaged in American public opinion, even among the Republicans, and distancing himself from providing aid to the Israeli captives can benefit him politically."
